Richard and Stacy are the proud owners of Impressions Hair Studio, bringing together years of dedication, service, and a shared passion for helping people look and feel their best.

Richard proudly serves his community as a firefighter, while Stacy brings more than 30 years of experience as a professional hairstylist and barber. Throughout her career, Stacy has developed a keen eye for current trends, styles, and techniques, allowing her to create looks that are modern, flattering, and personalized to each client.

Stacy is a Curly Hair Certified Specialist and is also certified in Keratin Complex treatments and Hothead tape-in hair extensions, giving her the knowledge and versatility to work with a wide range of hair types, textures, and styling goals. She is also a Wedding Updo Specialist, creating elegant, customized bridal and special-event styles designed to complement each client’s look and vision. Her commitment to continuing education, combined with decades of hands-on experience, allows her to offer clients both modern techniques and trusted expertise.

Together, Richard and Stacy have created a warm, welcoming salon centered on quality, personalized service, and a genuine commitment to their clients. Their goal is simple: for every guest who walks through the door to feel comfortable, valued, and confident.

Kelly Ries

Senior Stylist /Manager

With more than 30 years behind the chair, I can honestly say I still love what I do. Hair has always been more than just a career for me—it’s something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about. Over the years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to build lasting relationships with so many wonderful clients, and that continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

As a Certified Color Specialist and a Certified Balayage Artist through the Masters of Balayage program, I love creating customized looks that are tailored to each client. My specialties include precision cuts, color, highlights, balayage, and beautiful dimensional color. I’m always continuing my education and staying current with the latest techniques and trends so I can bring fresh ideas and modern styles to every guest.

I’m also very proud and honored to have had my work featured in Modern Salon Magazine as part of the Modern Salon 100.

For me, the best part of my job is seeing the smile on someone’s face when they leave the salon feeling refreshed, confident, and beautiful. There’s nothing better than helping someone look and feel their very best.

As the salon entered its next chapter, Kathy proudly passed the torch to Richard and Stacy, entrusting them to carry on the legacy she began. Today, her vision continues to live on through the same commitment to excellence, personal service, and welcoming atmosphere that have defined Impressions Hair Studio for more than three decades.
